Media for Nature added another feather to its cap in the reporting of underreported environmental conservation stories. Co-Founder Ruth Keah was among the journalists acknowledged for the important role journalists play in highlighting wildlife conservation stories.

Recently, Internews’ Earth Journalism Network celebrated 20 years, 5 years in East Africa, and the successful completion of its first conservation project, where they also recognized journalists for their role in reporting wildlife conservation.

Ruth, a multi-award-winning journalist, was honored for her work in reporting the underreported stories in wildlife conservation on radio and podcast.

This was after her story, Women at the forefront in Wildlife conservation, got longlisted in the Podcast & Radio 2024 category in the One World Media Awards.
