OUR MAIN OBJECTIVES
- Strengthen Journalistic Integrity, promote ethical journalism by providing resources, training, and guidelines for journalists covering nature and biodiversity topics. Encourage accurate, unbiased reporting and fact-checking in this field.
- To increase coverage of issues related to environment by establishing a network with scientists, government institutions and the international community
- Advocacy, create awareness of the importance of nature and how it impacts on the social and economic fabric. To foster a deeper understanding of environmental issues and natural resource management among the public through informative and engaging journalism. This objective aims to raise awareness about the importance of responsible resource utilization.
- Rally to action decision makers in the media and in government to develop policies and programs that promote good environment governance, sustainable natural resources management and socio-economic development for public good.
- Support Investigative Reporting. Facilitate investigative journalism projects that uncover and expose issues related to natural resource exploitation, corruption, and environmental degradation. These investigations can serve as catalysts for positive change.
